Hi, im herbert, and i have a dude, I have John deere 7810 4x4, and i have a problem when im working with a cultivator, the tractor skate too much even with the 4x4 and the 4 tires in the rear, so im planing to put other 2 tires on the front (4 tires on the front), but im not sure if the problem will be solved..So if you can help me, ill appreciate .. Thank you

Skate?? as in the front feels light? Thats not a articulating tractor, not sure i would toss extra wheels on the front. how about hanging a hand full of weight up front. That would help get the front to bite in. Duallys on a steering axle are really hard on bearings.

Hello Herbert, welcome to the forum. Well, JD does have a kit for a duel wheel set up on the front. And, you will notice this tractor also has front suitcase weights.


I think you just need to get a set of front weights with the proper bracket for your tractor model from your JD dealer like in the photo below and your problem will be solved.



The front duel wheel set up is very expensive, probably 5 times the cost of putting on weights. Go the cheaper route first, I think it'll solve your problem. PJ
