Hi, relitively new to the forum. bought this garden tractor with snowblower last summer and honestly I have forgotten what the guy said it was, it came without a hood.

it has a kohler magnum 20 opposed twin (mv20s), hydrostatic drive (hydro gear 140343) and an electric lift. came without a hood and the only info is on a sticker, manufactured exclusively for tractor supply by american yard products inc, model #ts20h50.

i couldnt find much on it with that info other than it might be a huskee? it has an mtd blower on it, which has been modified a bit to fit, but does seem to fit fairly well otherwise (mounting points line up, just one of the tie rods interfears)

any info on it would be helpfull, id like to see about implements for gardening specifically, mabey a hood. it has 500 hours on it, i paid $350 for it, figured i got a pretty good deal. runs good now after a bit of tinkering. im a little worried about the hydro drive as sometimes it dosent move right away when starting up cold. found a used one on ebay for $275 + 90 s+h, they didnt seem like they were everywhere so i thought i might get that one in case this one goes out.

AYP made tractors that ended up with lots of different names on them. Some ended up as Craftsman, others ended up as MTD or J.C. Penny or Montgomery Wards or Murray, etc. Most of them made at around the same time usually shared a lot in common with each other even though there were slight differences. For basic thinks like engine components and the deck lift, you could probably use parts from any of them, but for brand specific things like the hood and a few others you would probably need to find the parts from that specific brand/model for it to be exactly right.
