Trying to problem solve my father in law's tractor.
Initially, it looks like the plastic drive pulley broke on the engine side which powers the hydrostatic rear. It was replaced but still will not go.
He lives 6 houyrs from me and trying to guide him remotely. A little tough.

Is there an adjustment procedure for adjusting the belt tension?
The drive pulley was replaced but not the belt. Should the belt be replaced as well for cheap insurance?

Thanks for the help.

Get the model # of his tractor, maybe there is a service manual on the Simplicity web sit you can download. I`ve used the parts manual, using the zoom feature to get a better look at something I didn't understand. All manuals are free and are PDF format.
