I'm trying to figure out what year my 210 tractor is. Bad thing is, it's missing both the engine and regular tractor serial number tags. I however have found one on the deck and also the transaxle.

Deck i believe reads-H039D 3030293M

Transaxle- Mod2333 peerless 6299 8524

any ideas?

Can you put up a couple pictures? as the 200 series was built there are a few different things they changed through out the production. Although not guaranteed that it is 100% to nail down the exact year we could probably get close. :trink40:
I will give you an example; there are two different side panels. early ones have screens late ones have louvres.
Seat pans, decals, and PTO styles all change over the years.

the black bar is supposed to be a set-up for a plow. That's what grandpa told me.

Doesn't manual PTO narrow it down to pre-1981? There was another thread where we debated the year of the switchover to electric PTO and I think the answer was 1981 :dunno:

That's a pre-1979. They switched to the black strobe decals in 1979. The front lift rod looks like it was added on, it has it's own rockshaft and everything! That's interesting.

my guess is a 1977, Deere used a jam nut on pto knobs up to 80000, didn't start those engine covers till 70,000 70,000-80,000 are 1977's

The solid yellow stripe decals went until '77, then they changed in '78. The louvred panels tell its '77 or later, so it is a '77 tractor.

The D in the deck serial number makes the deck a '75 model.
