I just signed up my name is bruce i am from Brooks Alberta Canada and I have been reading various posts from this site as I looked to purchase a tractor small garden type. My intention was to build a small loader and back hoe for it as well as restoration. This is to be the first project for my son Evan who is 7 years old to help with. I managed to find a deal on 2 1967 John Deere 110 tractors 1 in good shape and the other requires some work but relatively I think good as well. The one has a snow blower attached and the other has a Johnson loader. I must say i can see how addicting this can become as both myself and my son are excited. I work in camp on a 2 week in 1 week out rotation and hopefully we will be able to pick up the tractors in 2 weeks. I am sure we will be looking for answers, parts and so on and find this forum very informative and I am amazed at how big the tractor restoration and building actually is.
