The Bolens 1256 is a sturdy little hydro tractor and the Wisconsin 12 HP is a good motor.
There are many parts interchangable between the 1256 and other "tube frame" models from 1050 through H14.
Do yourself a favor and download the parts and owners manuals for your Bolens from the library here on MTF, and also get the parts manuals for all of the other tube frame Bolens'
That way, you can look up a part for your tractor, then look at the other parts manuals to see what other units used the same part & part number. Then you know what items on places like eBay will fit your tractor. Just because it says "Bolens 1225 dash panel" or "Bolens G14 steering gear" doesn't mean it only fits that tractor.
