Hi, My name is Bruce. I am the manager of a small hardware store and I also do some of the service work just for fun. Just picked up my first tractor this week. It is a Simplicty 6516H.

I have yet to here this one run. It has been sitting for a while and needs a battery. The gas tank had water and old gas in it so I ordered a carb kit. I will be rebuilding the carb before I try to start it. I don't even need a tractor but it was only $100 with a 48" deck.

It Lives! Rebuilt the carb and cleaned the gas tank, installed new battery.Thanks for the welcomes.

Runs great. Starts hard, slow to crank. I am gonna replace the battery cables and look for dirty connections.
