I recently went to a local Steam pageant that I hadn't been to in years. There was a ton of vintage Wheel Horse models there but no 604's.It got my blood boiling. When I was a kid we had a 604. We had about 2 acres to mow plus two big driveways a lot's of side walks to plow in the winter.:snowing: Plus my dad had a one bottom plow and used to do the local gardens. I can still see him leaning back with the front wheels in the air. Any way I've turned 50 and after making a huge dent in collecting the Tonka's and Buddy L's from my child hood I'm going to try to find a trusty 604. Luckily I have 2 co workers who find all kinds of old machinery to assist. I currently have a Toro/Wheelhorse 210 Hydro. I use it as a back-up mower now and as a primary snow remover. I've got an old Allis Chalmers blower adapted to it and it does a fine job. I'll post pics when and if I need the blower this year.

Welcome!
A steam "pageant"??? Did that include a evening wear and swimsuit
competition for the tractors? :D
Not quite:bannana: Lot's of steam tractors and stationary plants plus tons of hit and miss gas engines and even a collection of gas powered Maytag washers!
