After a year of restoring this 125 cub tractor, I started having trouble with the motor seizing. I’ve been focused on the motor and the problem seems to have been in the pump. Is this pump salvageable and how would you go about fixing it provided it is?

Ground Control to Mayor Scott... That's toast. And welcome to MTF. 🍻

Agreed start looking for used good stock or a complete engine... keep your eyes peeled on the auctions too.

Got an engine # and/or a part # ?

Also, don't forget to clean out whatever that pump drives, as that will have been spitting out metal bits, and most hydraulic stuff doesn't like them...
