my building is done enough to move in, still need to put the ceiling in but i am tried of running back and forth to the house for a tool that i had forgot to get in my other dozen trips. anyway, the building is 42x60 with a 42x15 camper bay and a 42x45 shop. i put 3 10x8 doors across the front and a man door in the camper bay.
my plan is to have the first bay as a work shop, the center bay for my truck and the third bay for the tractors. with shelve and work bench all the way around the building.
in the back of the tractor bay i am trying to come up with a way of hanging my blade and the land scrape rack from the wall above the finish mower. they both our 6 footers. i would use the tractor to set them up on what ever i can pull out my back side to work,
any of you guys hang your attachments?

Yes--I hang up my tow-behind tub spreader, and my walk behind spreader...
On the plus side--it gives you floor room.

But I don't know how, without some sort of crane you lift anything heavier up and hang it, on say-a stout piece of iron , like I have in my brick walls...Most of the time --it's only me here...so no help.:dunno:

been thinkin bout this some.. if u have trusses overhead.. I would NOT hang either from them.. u might hang them on the wall IF the wall is 2 x 6 or better..

my guess on weight is 200-250 for the rake & 300 for the blade.. this is too much to hang from the roof or rafters or trusses..

now then u may get away with a shelf set-up on the side wall or end wall.. supportin the shelf on all 4 corners to the floor.. just slide them in or use forks..

the walls are 2x6 in between the 6x6 post, i screwed 2ft of treated plywood around the bottom then the rest of the wall is 1/2 osb. i did the treated so i could power wash the floor if need be.

hanging from the rafters never crossed my mind. even at 2ft center that is to much weight.

i am leaning to a self system but i don't have forks so i would have to lift them with a chain and set them on it.

i will post up what i come up with, when i get there still playing the rearrange game with all my junk.

if those teeth r removable on ur FEL.. & if they bolt on.. u could use those holes to attach a channel iron under the bucket & use them for a set of forks..
