I bought a 1975 commercial 12 about a month ago and it looked good but the seller said it wouldn't run anymore. He didn't know what was the matter with it either. So I bought it for a price that I figured I might have to put a considerable amount of work in it. When I got it the sparkpug was out, the ignition switch was out, the wires were unhooked on most of the electrical parts except the solenoid and coil. There was no gas in the tank and the lines to the carb and fuel pump were gone. You could manually turn the crank though. I began rewiring, put in new points and condenser. The coil and solenoid were wired backwards. I put new lines in the carb and fuel pump. I primed it and it fired wright off and when I got the fuel to continue flowing, it ran fantastic. No smoke or knock. What a great feeling

Sounds like you made out like a bandit. That's a nice looking tractor too. Looks like you did well.
