Hi - I don't do much posting - just a lot of lurking - but when I ran across this GX345 for sale I wanted to get you opinion/s. Is this price fair or if not - what should the price be on this machine? Thanks for your help.

That doesn't sound too bad to me in Ontario. Last year I paid 4500 for a 2004 with 275 hours on it with no attachments just 54" mower. It had a 3 bag power blower on it that they removed because I didn't want it. They knocked 500 off the original price of 5000. They are a nice rugged mower, and I think with all those attachments they are in the ballpark with their price. They might come down this late in the season tho. They are basically the same mower as the X540.

Do the math, the bagger sells used for $600-800. The blower with weights and chains $600-700. That leave $4550 for the tractor. That tractor in 05 sold for $8000.
I think it's a good deal. I replaced my 2000-345 with 2160hrs on it last March with a 2005 GX345 that a guy had in a storage locker for 5 years with 112 hrs on it, it to had a power flow bagger. I paid $4900. for it and Im the one that got the deal. I sold the bagger for $750. IMO the 345/GX345 is the best belt garden tractor JD ever built.

Ditto, but I'm obviously biased. =) It drives nicer than my Caddy, and is pretty darn quiet to boot. I could not be more pleased with mine.

I think it's a reasonable price considering all that comes with it. Plus, it's a diff-lock model as well.
