It's that time of year again, and I'm out putting the snow blower on and I can't seem to remember how to make the lift work. The lift for the mower deck works, so my guess is that I'm missing a part, or just plan forgot how it goes together. My manual isn't much help.

I have the rear pivot points are in their mounts and the lift yokes are attached the front lift kit, but when I activate the lift lever, nothing happen

Thanks for helping a guy out.

Snow blower is attached to the lift kit with yokes off the blower frame which attaches further forward from the mower deck lift brackets.

End of the Snowblower frame work attaches in the area where the mower deck lift is.

But do you have the Lift kit attached to the Rock shaft or did the pin holding that where it should be drop off.

Meaning when having someone else move the lift lever up and down, does the lift kit under the tractor move up and down?

If it does and still the blower does not lift off the ground...............can be only one other thing? The yokes needed to be adjusted in length so when the lift kit goes up it lifts the frame of the blower up off the ground.

Sounds to me like the yokes are floating in the blower frame.

Put the lift in the down position and then crawl under the tractor and shorten the yoke bolt lengths.

Then start up the tractor and use the lever and lift up the blower.

Thanks Jim, got it working.
It was ALL in the yoke adjustment.

This is only the second year I have used this since getting it second hand and I found that the yoke bolt was nutted tight to the blower frame, along with the yoke jamb nut.
It made adjustments impossible, and this would explain why the blower never did sit right last year.

You pointing me to the yoke adjustment was just the ticket, and I thank you.

+++++++++++

Leon,

You found a gem to help you with your snowblower. Two years ago when I bought my GX335 it came with a snow blade. I could not get it adjusted right. Jim
went out and unhooked his blade so he could take pictures and post them here. This forum is fantastic. I have learned so much and asked lots of questions. It truly has helped me beyond measure.

Have a good week, Jim and Leon.
