My gt262 is in need of a hood. Does anyone know if a gt260 will fit? I just picked it up to mow the tough stuff around my property to save my x320. It's a great tractor just a little naked without a hood

If you are referring to the Deere 260, then no, I dont think that will work, where in NY are you?

Just outside of Binghamton. I thought that the gt200 series hoods
are interchangable?

I didn't think there was such a thing a GT260, I thought you were refering to the 260 without the GT prefix, The front of the hood seems alot different on my 240. The 240, 245, 260, 265, 285, and 320 all share the same hood. There is a guy in Hannibal NY north of syracuse that has alot of used stuff, little bit of a trip from Binghamton though

Only gt series that will fit are gt262, gt242, gt275. Some of the LX model hoods will fit though.

You are correct, I just looked at the parts tractor and it just
Says 260 on the hood.
