My gt2000 is not running right I was mowing the lawn and it acted like it was running out of gas. Had about 1/2 a tank of gaz. I can see gas down cap. It then stalled when I started it drove like 30 ft then stalled. It then started but only ran for a few seconds.I looked at the fuel filter and it had a small amount of gas in it. I got some gas and poured straight into carb. It would run but then stall as soon as I stopped. I added more gas station into the gas tank a gallon or so. Then tried a few more times. Then all of a sudden the fuel filter filled up with gas then it ran fine and I mowed the rest if the yard. Any ideas?
gt2000 stalls and wont start after mowing for an hour or so.

Fuel pump getting weak or a piece of dirt got stuck in one of the valves inside the fuel pump then dislodged.

I have seen mold growing into the fuel cap vent hole if you use ethanol gas
OK I will check gas cap. Anything in particular to look for?
It first started acting up wheny wife ran it out of gas. I had to use starter fluid to get it started. That seems to be when it started.
If it is fuel pump is that something I can clean? Or should it be replaced?
