I am looking at three different GT's right now and am not sure which way to go. I will list them in this thread and I need some info as to which is the best bang for the buck. They all seem pretty nice. I would use them for blowing snow, mowing 2 acres (hilly), and moving a trailer of wood around.

#1...Cub Cadet 1812. Engine rebuilt. Completely redone and looks new. Kohler Mag 18. 50" deck. No other accessories. Hour meter says 1000, but has new parts all over on it. Same price as 520h. I believe it is a 1986 tractor.

#2...Wheelhorse 520h. Onan 20 horse engine with 850 hours. Good shape. 48" deck, snowblower attachment, cab. My Deere 316 had an Onan I liked, but it was thirsty. Same price as 1812. I think it is a 1996 tractor.

#3...Wheelhorse 314h. Kohler Mag 14. 330 hours. 42" deck. Snowblower, blade, and in nice condition. I do not know anything about the Mag 14 engine. 1K or less. I think it is a 1997 tractor.

No flaming of brands. I like everything. Just can't decide what to go with. I currently have a Cub 1450 with 44" & 50" decks. I love it, but need a second. Thanks for any thoughts and advice.

I would go for the 520, a-lot of machine for the money.

DITTO Love the cab option

If the snowblower's are 2 stage... I would go that route more HP the better. 1, 2 are both good.

a snowblower and cab, what was the question again?
I vote the 520-H too. Cab, deck, snow blower AND all that engine???
Don't forget, you can get the 60 inch deck for it also if you get the front swept axle. You will blaze through those two acres and it wont even notice its cutting grass. :)
Snow blowers like lots of horsepower.

No question involved here.
Thanks guys. I was not expecting the 520 to be all that popular. Must be a capable machine. Time for the research to start!
I'd not over look the 314H nothing wrong with a 520, but if the 314 only has 330hr on it and is better shape a cab can be bought, I wouldnt let the cab be the deal maker. I'd also think there are more parts around for the 314 as there were several models that basically are similar just a different engine.

Gasoline prices have me going to see the 314H tommorow. 15 minute drive to see it. Snowblower has the shorter discharge chute. Snowblade looks new. The 520 is 1 hour or more drive. I have already looked at the 1812....it was perfect, but only has the 50" deck with it.
I would think 14 hp on a 42" single stage should run it well. Not downing the 520 but those engines have been known for valve seat issues at age.
