Welcome to the forum!

First, clean and tighten your electrical connections (ALL OF THEM), especially grounds.

Break out the multi-meter and check the charging voltage at half throttle or higher.

If it's still low you could have a bad voltage regulator or stator.

Like D-Dogg said I'd make sure all the connections are cleaned. I had the same thing on a GT 262 with the 17 HP Kaw and it ended up being a bad voltage regulator... which was around $80 to replace.

I agree, probably a bad voltage regulator.
