As some of you guys know I have been bringing back to life my gt/18 hydrodrive w/loader (my avatar pic). Well I put the motor back on tonight and rebuilt yet another pump and carb. Now it was time to start the beast raying:. After putting a good battery on and turning her over quite a bit she finally fired up. I have to say there is no better feeling than getting a motor running that hadn't been started in 10-15 years. I now have three running Onans in the stable.:fing32: 2 gt/18 hydrodrives and 1 SS/16.:dancingpa And my addiction continues.........

So here are some pics of my tractors. the ss/16 was painted that aweful color when I got it (I'll be taking care of that in the future.) Hey it runs...
Now the one with the trac vac I picked up about a month ago and that runs nice. The Gt/18 with the motor exposed is the one I just got running. I am having one of the mufflers welded by my neighbor so it is loud but I couldnt wait to see if it would start. And it does (without choke I might add).

Yeah those are 26x12-12 carlisle tires and the model # for the tractor is 917-257070.

I really love my hydro, I just put 18-6.50-8 tires on mine and it looks huge.

Hey SS_Skippy that was the plan for mine. Did you happen to see the gt/18 hydro with a tiller on ebay a few weeks ago? It was in PA. If I lived closer I would have snatched that up.

Yes I saw it, It was a little steep for me but I am cheap. I paid $60 for my gt-18h with a mower deck. You wouldn't happen to have an extra hydro filter cover would you. As you can see mine is missing.
