I discovered your site while doing research on hydrostatic transmission issues found in some Kubota GR2000 series lawn tractors. I currently have a Sears G6500 with a K66 TuffTorg hydro and have had a lot of problems with slippage when it's hot, have drained and changed fluid but after only 5-10 hours am back where I started.
I checked JD out and found their hydros are TuffTorg also and they don't even have drain plugs!
I want to make sure I don't run into hydro problems with my next mower and had hoped a used Kubota might be the answer? I'm looking at a used GR2000 with less than 300 hours on it but the owner says it needs a new hydro tranny, I don't mind paying for one IF it is more durable than the original.
Your thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated.
