Hello everyone,:howdy: I live in a town far up in northern Norway called Bodo
I just bought me an old ARIENS gt17 think it is about 1985 model, so I was looking for information on my new garden tractor on google, when I came across this great forum. and then I had to just sign up for and gain experience from others, and share images and information.

Here is a picture of my tractor:thThumbsU a little rusty but to overhaul it this summer:fing32:

Welcome to MTF. Sweet cab!,
:MTF_wel2: Oljebaron from WI, love to have that cab!
Greetings & welcome from southern Md . I had a older New-Holland version of that tractor . Congrats on your acquisition , I think you will be quite pleased with it .

Oljebaron welcome to the forum from Titusville, Pennsylvania! Real nice setup you have there, looks like it will do some serious snow clearing! If it has the Kohler KT17 series engine check the engine to see if it says Series I or Series II. If it is a Series I you will not want to keep it on a hillside for too long working, it's not pressure lubricated so you could harm the engine that way. The Series II was pressure lubricated. There are still a lot of Series I's still working fine but it is an issue you should be aware of.
