Welcome! Lots of good info on the 317 here. I pretend to know alot about them, but really I just gleam answers from "Kansas John Deere" and pretend like I alway knew it.

At my current rate, I may have 2 or 3 317's soon

Welcome To MTF , proud owner of a 316 and 317. The 317 is great LOL Mine has no motor , soon one is comming and will post pics when I put it in. The 316 is fully funtional with me on it steering I'll be going over the 317 to get it in shape. There are a few restores on here that have lots of info. That has helped me understand this machine. If you need some help just ask and I'm sure you'll get a lot of answers.
