Fine thread (NF or SAE) fasteners are the exception on Gravelys.

One place where a NF thread is found is on the belt tensioning rod on the 50" mower deck.

Another place a NF fastener was used is on the 800/8000 direction clutch studs.

Where else did Gravely use NF nuts or bolts?

While anything could be used, I got two NF threaded bolts with my MA-210 snowblower crank assembly from Richard's. It is NOS also.

I'll add that the factory studs/nuts on the 6-bolt split rims are fine thread, 3/8-24 if I remember correctly.

The nut that holds the safety clutch on is fine thread. The end of the rods of the old style brush is NF. I think the nut that holds the gear on the input shaft of the 50" mower drive is NF.

How about the bolts that hold the transmission to the frame on a four wheel tractor?

I said that, but I was talking about a 400. I didn't remember that about an 800. But then it's been over a year since I've taken one of those a part.

How about the bolts that hold the skids on a 30" mower deck?
