I know at least Krislu has a stump grinder attachment. Anyone got any pics? Or anyone else own one? Looks like a need to own attachment.

I just watched a video online. Killer!

Interesting video but you'd think he would take the stump down as low as possible with a chainsaw first.
nope I hadn't. The video is of shawns, I think it might even be sShawn in the video. He had the link on a Gravely site I belong to.

yeah that would have made the video 5 minutes shorter as well. I think he was just trying to show how effortless it took it down. I would have broke out the chainsaw 1st. Thats the 1st thing I said to my wife. Someday I'll own one of those.

I'm very impressed actually! If he is going to be selling these, I may just get one! The only problem I see is that all of my machines are larger Professional models so maneuvering that puppy might be a little bit more challenging. Has anyone dealt with him at all ?
I was quite impressed as well. I would love to run one on my C12 but your right, menuvering might me a little trickier. Might have to run it (after I get one that is) on the CI or the 51 L.

I think his phone # is on the other site. I'll have to take a look later on.
I did find the number the other site. I'll probably call him this weekend and order one up!
Speaking of stump grinders .. I have one to sell of if anyone is interested .. ITS NOT A GRAVELY .. but its similar to the one in the video .. its a small self propelled "ProMark" with a 18 HP Twin Kohler Magnum electric start motor.
Runs great and works well .. only two things wrong with it .. Motor has a oil leak, which needs a new crank seal ?? And its direct drive .. Once it starts .. the grinder is spinning .. someone removed the parts to turn it on and off and made it direct drive ..
I am done with it .. and just want it gone .. If anyone is interested please PM me

I am hoping to get $400 for it

This is a photo of a NEW one .. with a much bigger motor .. mine is the same .. BUT much older

I've talked with Shaun on the phone several times lately. Seems like a very stand up guy who enjoys making them. $400 for the wheel, bits & guard plus shipping.
He also had only 1 or 2 106 drives left, I don't remember the price but he goes through & rebuilds them.
he and I have played phone tag a few times. If I remember correctly the drive, rebuilt, adds $175 to the price.
Stoney, I seem to remember reading that over on the Yahoo Gravely Group.
yeah I think I read that there. Thats where I found the video link. Shawn confirmed the prices on my voicemail. Now if I could line up a job or 2 grinding stumps I could justify this. :bannana:
I looked into one of them a few years ago. REAL nice unit, and was eaven cheaper back then. I think he eaven offerd one for the LH gearbox at that time also. Not sure if he does anymore now.
