I am trying to convince my seasonal neighbor, who actually lives in Northampton, MA (north of Springfield) to buy his uncle's 1960s(?) Gravely model L and very nice 8 piece attachment collection. I think that he can get a very good deal since he is family. The collection actually belonged to his uncle's FIL and the uncle is somewhat interested in selling it as a lot. My neighbor is a very busy general contractor who is also building his own new home on a good size wooded hill property. He doesn't have the time or inclination to do more than routine maintenance. I could get the equipment running and serviced initially if/when he buys it but he would need a local shop that works on T-head Gravelys once he gets it home for any future repairs. Does anyone know of a repair shop within about a 1 hour radius of Northampton/Springfield, MA?
