For the figurines, add "-dept 56" and they will disappear too.

You know what I hate about ebay searches, is when you are looking for something that has a common name. Like searching for Case tractor. It thinks you want to see a case of something, like a case of tractor chistmas lights. Or if I search for Case 530 I get cell phone cases and chargers. It is even worse if I search for a Case knife. Then you get every knife listed that says it has a custom case. Really frustrating. Ed

You can choose a category but you have to then do multiple searches, since tractors can end up in cars, home and garden, etc.
yep, and the more specific you make your search the more things you miss . Something else I learned is to search for things mispelled, If you do a search for Graverly you will find things others will miss. Ed

Good tip, I think this happens a lot actually. If you want to auction a big-ticket item, at least make it possible to find it when people search....

On MFF My Figurine Forum there is a thread telling them to search for "Gravely -tractor -brush hog -walk behind -mower -L model":sidelaugh.
When I search craigslist, I google the following:

+gravely -260z -"model l" -promaster -"zero turn" -152z -252z -antique -sulky -zeroturn -zt -ztr -"pro master" -walkbehind -"walk-behind" -"walk behind" -sickle -"two wheel" -"2 wheel" -1138 -1238 -convertible -reward site:craigslist.org

If I find myself getting a lot of hits for zero turns and stuff, I add them in as exclusions. You have to be careful with numbers though, as you could exclude stuff by accident if phone numbers, zip codes etc match.

Yes this includes the whole country, but I like to see what's out there. I have started using craiglook.com in order to find stuff that's actually within driving distance.
