How deep were you going in a single pass?
gravely custom convertible rotary plow
was plowing for first time today with my C8 was really digging great it was hot & humid and plow started stalling and stopping the ground is really hard has not been plowed in quit some time is that normal or do i have a problem?

7 or 8 inches
If the ground is really hard, then that's too deep in a single pass.
Agreed. I'd go no more than 4 inches on a first pass in tough ground, then go back and do another 4.
