I am wondering where to find what seals to use in the gravely 40" 2-blade, 50" and 60" gear boxes that would hold gear oil better than the oem seals.

Also, do the 40 2-blade, 50" and 60" gear boxes operate at a too-high rpm for gear oil to "survive"?

Any time I need seals or bearings I order them form Applied Technologies,
they are out of Carlisle Pa. 1103 Claremont Rd. I use their local out let in Alexandria, Va. Their Phone # is 703-548-4935. All they need is the manuf. number of the Item and they can get for you and ship it the same day. On a seal look for a C/R followed by 4 or 5 numbers. This just a example of what to look for.The best thing is it 1/2 the cost of a dealer.
