I have a grass sweeper (craftsman) that was given as a gift and while i mow with it it is directly behind the mower so i have to go back over the entire lawn (3.5 acres)to pick up the grass clippings after i mow. Does anyone here know of a off set type of bar/hitch or something to make the sweeper follow to the right of the mower and pickup the clippings as i mow.

Any help here is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance Jim

Jim,

Is it a lawn/leaf sweeper? I've never actually heard of a lawn sweeper being used for this, but if it picks up the clippings, then have at it!

I was confused a bit at first, but I think I figured out that you're discharging the grass, which is why you want the sweeper on the right.

How about putting in the mulching plug so the clippings stay under the machine, and the sweeper will gather them as you tow it? Not sure if the clippings would be large enough. Just an idea.
