Hey guys I had a issue with the 345 earlier this winter with it not idling and surging. It must be some dirt in bowl of carb as it stopped and was fine yesterday. I ran it with the snow with thick ice coating after it switched to rain. This machine was best God send to me yet. I put about 70 hours on it since we got it with little issue thank God! Here is a snow throwing vid I made yesterday. I should have set up tripod but wanted inside video. Someday I'll try to rig up a mount for my DLSR camera.

Nice video Eric! I did the same thing Thursday morning after 3-4" of wet slushy snow covered with a layer of ice.
I love how the 47 blower just chops right through and throws the stuff and never gets clogged!
Might get some ice tonight.
If I may ask, what kind of camera do you use?
I'm thinking of getting something I can mount on the tractor.

Hi I got into photography fairly seriously after getting hurt. The camera is a Nikon D3400 which was a gift. It does me very well at this stage of learning. I plan on upgrading the body sometime in future.
The tractor sure is a life saver for me. The machine was free off Craigslist the thrower was like new I bought from JD salesman family, the cab was a Christmas gift!!

Yesterday was a snowfall of only 2-3" of snow. I went out with the 345 and it clogged instantly to point of non useful. Dad used his Bolens and it never clogged. I looked and the flapper mod was gone, rubber broke off. I bought the wrong material and need to get baler belt but its pricey. For now we made some new paddles but saw one broke a little on first try. Will see how it goes!

Awesome DIY cab!

Thanks. We found it on Craigslist. Guy did good job. We just had to modify it to fit.

Well, that's pretty darn good camera work for hand holding! :fing32:

We got 3" yesterday morning and 3" the morning before. The first one was nice dry powder. The second one was wet and heavy. The 47 blower handled both perfectly! I'm loving this blower!
Got more coming tonight with predictions up to as much as 9".
March is coming in like a lion indeed!

Woke this morning to wet looking guessing 4-6" by look of cars. Should be fun to try out repaired flapper mod. The blower will work better in deeper snow either way. Needs enough to feed it or it would clog.

I just came in from blowing the driveway. We got about 9.5" of new snow. Got about 12 - 13" of old/new snow in the yards.

Good luck out there today!

2 weeks until Spring!
