About a month ago, I bought a Bishman 880 tire changer. It's 50's technology, but what the heck, it was $100. It sat outside and the drive belt was missing. DRug it home and it sat and waited its turn. Got the electric going the other week, Found out that its got a Dayton motor in it, so thats good. ot the contacts clean and motor is quiet and runs great. Moved on to check the air. After lubing the clamp mechanism, and putting a test wheel on there, my son hit the air on it and got a nice brown shower!! The top of the air cylinder had filled with water and it got pushed out with the 125psi air!! He wasn't nearly as happy that it worked as I was!!! Anyway got the belt on last night and tonight I popped some beads and ran the tire off and on a couple of times. The good part is that this thing supposedly goes down to 12" rims!!! The old manual el-cheapo tire changer departs tomorrow. The boy is now as happy as I am.:thThumbsU
