I found this 1997 MTD the man said that it has been leaking oil for years and this year it would not move when he put it into gear . I looked at it and he never cleaned it so there was grass all up under the frame and oil in the grass . Once I cleaned it all out and cleaned the belt it worked like a new one and the oil was coming from the seal around the dipstick tube .
