Got me a Bolens Blade!

Yep, it was 15 minutes away and brought it home for the amazing price of $50! not bad shape, it's just been sitting in the weeds for a while. The edge is ok and so are the shoes, especially for what I paid for it. Already did some pushin' in the manure pile, my sandbox :D

Sweet Blade! a word of advice,if you are going to adjust the shoes,soak the nuts with some rust penetrant or use a torch to heat the nuts -those are welded studs that love to break off and its not much fun trying to slide a bolt thru to replace from behind it!! have fun in the sand box :thThumbsU Steve!!

Yeah about that. I already busted a bolt off, I'll have to be a bit more careful! I gotta free up the turning part, as it took hitting a brick building to get it straight! Not something I want to do all the time.

Hitting a building to straighten the blade is a novel technique. Gotta try that.

I guess so, I won't do it anymore as it loosened up as I have used it but it works great to free it!
