Traded a V series fuel tank today at the local shop for a complete, super clean 10324 that has maybe 10 hours total run time. Wiped the dust off a bit, baked the dead coil, threw some gas in it and it fired up 1st pull. It will need a new recoil(already ordered) as a starter pawl few out when I pulled the shroud to remove the coil. Bought a new coil off Ebay this afternoon also. For some reason, the govenor spring is "jacked" and the engine is over revving, so tomorrow it will get a new spring and final adjustment. All in all will have about $50 total in a mower that could easily sell for $150-$200 I'd say due to it's overall condition. I'll toss up a few pics soon.

I'm guessing it only saw 1/2 -1 full season worth of mowing. Baked the coil, and it's revived(right now). Only draw back seems to be these cheesy carbs, as the govenor tends to hang up a bit every now and then. I installed a new spring, but had to loosen the carb bolts a bit to get the govenor to react properly. Should know more after I mow a few times with it. May end up having to swap out the carb for another. Though it hasn't been under load, I have warmed it up well, and so far, no surging with this one. Running the 37.5 pilot.
