I normally stick with older garden tractors, but the other day I went to get a Gravely from a guy and he had this one and said I could have it for $50 so I said why not?? I was fascinated by the keypad as I had never seen this before. Is there any way to tell the year from the serial number?? I am guessing 80's but I am not too familiar with Gilsons. Model number is 52112A 48588 and the Serial number is 5241E1 456. With a battery and a little work it runs and drives, but the deck has problems. I understand Toro has the books for these, but I could not get the model number to work in their look up thing. Here are some pictures.....

So, was it a good deal, and where can I get information like a parts/service manual???

According to what I have been able to find, it is called an Ecam 2000 and was billed as the first "computerized lawn tractor" in 1985. I am hoping to find more info on it.
