muwaaahahahahahhaaaa!

Question... I've got a turn plow with my 12.. should I start off with the turn plow on virgin ground?
yep! trust me- it will slice through grass like butter! If you have a lot of clay or hard pack it may be more work...

I have a really good manual for a 8" turning plow at www.mediafire.com/GT_80

- it tells you how to set the plow, how to sharpen it, and how to maintain it- you should download it!

oh awesome!!!!! I'm on that like white on rice :D

I do have clay, but I don't think it is compacted too much. It was previously a garden area - several years ago. It is very thick grass now.

Do you have a culter on your turning plow?

Its a little disc that cuts the sod before it gets to the plow.

im taking mine off for the plow day. the coulter wheel only helps with sod or grass or something like that. we will be plowing a field that has only ever had field grass, so that would have gotten clogged in the coulter. ill bring it anyway though, ready to be put on just in case

YEP I've got the wheel. Most of them are all taken apart - so I've got to put it all together to see exactly what I have :)
if you put up some pics, we can help :fing32:
