Noticed some different noises coming from the Gator 6x4 when I would drive it up to feed the cows. It sounded like something hitting the guard that sits over the driven clutch. I figured it was probably a small branch got hung up underneath causing the noise. Well I lifted the bed and didn't see any sticks, but did notice the driven clutch was about to fall off the splined shaft. The bolt and bushing were gone. I pushed the clutch back on and pulled the bolt and bushing off of the spare gator project. After checking the depth of the bolt hole in the splined shaft it became apparent that the old bolt broke off. I may have to pull the transaxle to see if I can get the broken bolt out.
