What's a Gator blade? It does a good job!
http://www.gatorblade.com/ They are well worth the money! Unfotunately hard to find for the suburbans
okay im sold i want those now
I've been using them for two years now, and you will not regret buying them. I've got 25 trees on two city lots around my house and never lift a rake.
I took my Gators off my ZTR a couple months ago as I wasnt real thrilled w/ them for mowing so I didnt think they'd be any better in the leaves.

:ditto: that !, they defintley do a nice job, had mine 7 years now :fing32:.
I just got one set for a Husky and another set for a Yardman ...... wont get used til spring.

Are the first two pictures before ..... or after ?

Leaves look pretty whole for being after.
Will never use anything but Gator Blades. With my mulch kit - the leaves and grass are gone.
Been using them for 7-8 years. Bought a new set in June, the 3 in 1 Gators and am still very pleased with them, mulching or bagging. :thThumbsU
The only thing I would like better is slpk's Mega-mow system. Unfortunately it is mega bucks also.
Do Gator blades work the same way if the leaves are wet, as in, 4 days straight of rain?

I know the pair that I have on the Craftsman II sure did a job on eating up the mower deck metal a couple weekends ago.

Best Purchase ever...
the first picture is before, the second during- I wasn't talking so much about the mulching capabilities, i was just happy the deck threw all the leaves out of my yard! The ones it did mulch were pulverized!!!

I am very happy with them!! i want a second set!!

The day i mowed in these pics, the leaves were soaked! I still let the grass dry if i want a good clean cut on grass... and i run my deck a little lower than i used to- seems to cut much cleaner!!

When I get a two or three bin bagging system ,you bet I'll have some.Looks like it lifted the leaves very well.

yeah! Lifted and SPAT THEM OUT!!!:fing32:
I just purchased the Gator blades for my JD 332. I also just purchased a tow-behind agri fab leaf vac. The combo of the mulching blade, and then the blade on the leaf vac, gives me an ending result in fine mulch. I mow 1 acre of leaves and grass and never have to empty the bin till im completely done. Its so awesome. No rake. No bagging. Just ride and mow like usual. Those blades are well worth the money as is the leaf vac.
