My first post was kinda long. This is my question,,, (above.)
I may have it fixed but scared to leave the gas on. lol
My first post was kinda long. This is my question,,, (above.)Since then I removed carb and cleaned,,,replaced needle also.
I have been using the shut-off ever since,, when it is not running ,,the gas is shut off. How can I tell ,,short of ,,leaving gas on and checking to see if gas is in the oil???
I guess there is really is no better way.And it's not a good thing.Let it sit 10 minutes with the gas on...remove air filter, look down into the carb throat...if you see a puddle..its leaking. Put the air filter back on, crank the engine...if it spins and locks up...its leaking. If it spins and blows gas out the muffler, its leaking.
