Ok guys here is my next question about my sears twin 18 -- 1979 Do you guys
think it better to run a electric fuel pump instead of the diaphragm pump that is on there? If you do run electric pump what pressure do you use. If i remember right they are adjustable from 1 to 3 or 4 lbs?? Paul

It depends on your fuel. If you run alcohol or e85 you have to run an electric pump , the stock pump doesn't put out enough volume and the diaphragm won't hold up to alcohol.
1 to 2 psi works fine for a stock engine. I've installed plenty of them on stock engines and never had a problem with the idle or anything else.
