Thought you would like to see a 1965 Landlord a friend converted to run on wood gas. It runs well but power is down, wood gas does not have the btu's of gasoline, and fuel range is limited. Still, it is an interesting experiment. PM me if you want more information on how it was done.

If it's as corrosive as E85 he may have problems with the carb fouling. I ran E85 in my race cars for the last 5 years, and they developed more hp and torque than gas but required 25% more fuel to do it.
