Hi all,

This one is unusual. My fuel bowl on my 3010 is not filling quick enough to keep it running at PTO speeds. I haven't been in the tank or petcock yet, and don't know if I have picked up an obstruction or what. Has anyone dealt with this? I am 100% certain it is slow to fill, I have seen it firsthand. I initially thought it may be a cap vent, but it is not.
Thanks!

Is this an L3010?
If so, I suspect an obstruction in the fuel system. You can remove the fuel bowl then turn the fuel on to see if you've got good flow. If you don't you can disconnect the line on the fuel inlet side then using an air compressor, blow back into the tank. You shouldn't need much pressure and have the cap off to keep from compressing the fuel in the tank.

Alot of water in the fuel can cause similar problems also. If your fuel bowl has a water separator in it, you could open the petcock at the bottom of the fuel bowl to let the water drain out. You may have to drain and dispose of the fuel in your tank if theres alot of water present.
Good luck
