I posted here last week about my 317 and no fuel, well now I have a new pump installed, all new fuel hoses, gas in tank, cap off in case its not venting and i crank and crank and no fuel to the carb. What the H gives, Iam tearing my few remaining hairs out
If I'm seeing the diagram of your fuel pump correctly it looks to have a lever for the pumping action. When you had it apart did you turn the engine over to see if the action in the engine is working against the lever?
When I've had fuel systems apart I usually spike the carb with some gas to get the motor to fire and draw some of the air through. Replaced the fuel line from front to back on my 214 and it fired over in one or two tries.
