Hi, where is the dump valve located? my 1988 2120 w/ shuttle, has a lube valve, it has a cable connected to the clutch, I have pulled the cable out all the way by hand from the valve and the tractor continues to move, no difference??The 2120 with the standard transmission has a two stage clutch, the first stage being for the transmission and the second stage for the PTO. The hydraulic shuttle shift uses a hydraulic dump valve for the clutch pack to disengage the transmission and allow the PTO to continue turning. These are both considered live PTO. An independant pto operates from it's own hydraulic clutch pack and the transmission clutch has no effect on it.
i have the same problem hope somebody knowsHi, where is the dump valve located? my 1988 2120 w/ shuttle, has a lube valve, it has a cable connected to the clutch, I have pulled the cable out all the way by hand from the valve and the tractor continues to move, no difference??
the 2120's come 2 ways, one has a dual clutch,it has a live PTO, the other has only one clutch, it does not have a live PTO, but it does have a cable from clutch linkage to shuttle shift valve that when depressed half way it opens valve to lube the shuttle shift clutches indide transmission when tractor is not moving but running so clutches do not run dryHi geraldmelanson View attachment 2534030
That thread is really pretty old and the people in that thread have not been around in a while...you will probably do better if you just start your own thread...good luck
