Hi i'm new to the site and i'm having a few problems with our Ford Lgt 125 if anyone can help us, we'd greatly appreciate it.

I have all numbers on tractor
Model no#09JC3221
Serial no#G120409
Engine no#K301AQS
Spec no#47606
Engine Serial#12130937

1st) the starter is turning the engine left:fing20: isn't the starter supposed to turn left so the engine can turn clockwise?
2nd) the engine would run great for 10 to 15 minutes and then shut off what would cause that?
3rd) tractor went to a guy and he made a mess of the wiring and the pto's wires are missing and the ignition wiring is :eek:mg: I don't know!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 125 or a manual?

Tractor Has:
660 amp diehard battery
12 hp K301 engine
4 speed manual transmission
75 lbs. rear tire weights x2
side panels for hood were lost in garage fire 3/25/08
sleeve hitch, cultivator, plow sleeve, disc harrow, dozer blade, mower deck 44?-46?

Tryin to plant a garden this year, but it may be too late by time tractor is useable!!!:sidelaugh

Can't offer help with your Ford, but did want to say howdy and :Welcome1:

Hang in there and keep checking back, someone in the know should be along to offer you some assistance :fing32: .
thanks for your support
the starter is doing this now turning backwards so it can't start, the satrter was serviced before for that problem and its doing it again?,it ran about a year ago and when it did run it would shut off.

sorry to confuse you like that
Starter is straight now:sorry1: :sorry1: It wasn't grounded good thats:banghead3 all. Now the engine won't fire.

Today i bought a few parts from NAPA and installed them. Tractor has just got new points,a new coil, 2 quarts of 30 Sae oil, $3.00 of mid grade gas, and a new briggs and stratton spark plug.:thThumbsU The plug and points are firing but the starter isn't turning fast under pressure.(even while trying to be jumped):banghead3 But when plug is removed, it'll turn the motor freely.:sidelaugh The inside of the starter is cracked on the magnetic walls and a few pieces chipped away. The tractor has Beaten 4:14_6_5: of us today we have 3 more people that have yet to try their hand.

Any suggestions? Anyone:hide:
It's running now but the starter won't turn the motor like it should. We had to shoot 200 amps into the battery to jump it. I had new rings put in the motor and the cylinder honed out and cleaned 3 days ago. The motor is tight now it tries to catch but just won't. It may be the starter i'll price another one tonight.
I looked into getting the starter rebuilt and i found a place that said they could have it ready, so i'll take it to them either Tuesday or Friday and hopefully it'll be ready soon. Or if it's more costworthy the i'll go ahead and buy one. I went to Handy Rental in N.C. and they told me a new starter would run me $250 with tax and $9 delivery fee.
Also I took my time adn replaced the switches everythings ready, hopefully i might get to use the snoplow this year i'm eager too!:thThumbsU

Also i want to know, I have another set of garden tractor tires with rims would it be a good idea to dual wheel the rear end or use the weights for gardening or plowing?
Thnx for the help i appreciate it.
Oh yeah that picture was taken before i finished putting the motor back together the muffler and box are on it now also.:fing32:
