Ford 8000 Restore

I picked up a new tractor last week and plan on a frame off restoration. Here is what she looks like the day I brought her home. I have it torn down all the way right now in the basement and am stripping the paint off of it piece by piece. Hoping to have it done by summer, so I can't paint in the garage until it gets warmer out.

Looks like the rear ag tires are at least 40%. Are those ribs in the front? Nice looking row crop. That's one of those rare 8000's with the one speed trans.

Nice find:thThumbsU

She will be getting all new rubber on it, all new screws and bolts to hold it together, new decals, and new paint. I have another one that I got for Christmas when I was 5 which I restored about 5 years ago that will be going to my son when he has a child, but this one will be for my daughter when she had a child of her own. My son is 9 now, and my daughter is 6, so they will be around my house for quite a while longer.
I am finally getting around to finishing up the old Ford. The stickers came in the mail yesterday, so I am about ready to start putting it back together. We have a kids pedal tractor pull this weekend, so I am going to try to get it put back together

Wicked! I have one of those that my dad got me in the early 70's When he bought my Ford 100 lawn tractor. Where did you get the decals? Mine needs a redo. I'm missing the hubcaps as well. Any idea where I can get those?

I got some parts from http://www.pedaltractorparts.com/ and http://www.easternpedalproducts.com/

Both were VERY easy to deal with.
Excellent info. Thanks. I can find some parts to redo mine for my boys!
