Even though I don't have a CC 3K series...
1. Nice. You definitely lucked out! Unfortunately, it was just way too wet for my Kubota. I kept having to stop and clear the chute during each pass of the driveway.
2. You should be able to find a lot of good info on converting the chute rotation/angle adjust to electrically controlled here. Your snow blower's chute assembly should be nearly identical to my old one on my GT2544.
3. I'm not sure if Robalon makes skid shoes for your blower or not (they did for my 341), but I've recently converted most of my blowers to them and they wear much better than the steel skid shoes. You might want to check them out to see if they will work better for you.
4. On my GT2544 there's a switch position on the ignition for enabling the PTO while reversing. I'm really surprised that the 3225 doesn't have the same feature.
5. Without the rear suitcase weights (I used 4 of them), I agree, it definitely feels light in the rear. My dealer also filled the rear tires with Rimguard and I installed two Bolens cast-iron wheel weights on the rear tires, which also helped a lot to provide traction when the snow blower was attached. Otherwise, if I didn't have chains installed the tractor would just spin the tires going up the hill.
Finally, I also use a battery tender on all my tractors. It works great for maintaining my battery when I don't some them over the winter and/or summer.
