Finally Running

I finally got around to getting the 5660 running today. The PO said he used it last winter but I found acorns from the medieval period.
It runs but it sounds like a hit and miss engine. I drained the old fluid but I have not cleaned out the carb yet. At least it runs.

A good carb cleaning will do wonders for it with some fresh fuel.

Congrats on at least getting past the hard part.

Now, where's the photos?
The handles aren't shiny enough for photos yet. I need to get more Brasso.
I understand completely, but we're not picky. We just like Gravelys, regardless of their condition. :fing32:
The handles are supposed to be shinny?? Mine are rust on the 526... they still function the same!

You mean they didn't come rusty from the factory?

In fact, some did. My Comm 10A will end up with a set of Stainless Steel ones at some point.

Yet another nifty 'farkle' for a Gravely by Don!

(farkle = Fancy Accessory Really Cool Likely Expensive and is a carry over from some motorcycle forums I frequent)
Is this a 3-volt 5660 or a 12-volt 5660?

[The 12-volt has the rectifier, the 3-volt doesn't.]

Thanks.
