Good Job JV!:thThumbsU
That looks abso-fricken-lutely fantastic!

Since most digital cameras shoot video, what would be the chances of you shooting some of this in action (even if just cycle times) and upload it to youtube? I'd love to see it work!

I'll talk to my wife (the computer wiz) and see if i can load a link to a couple of videos i already have on my pc.
I'm ok posting pictures now, But I needed several courses on how to resize them, still most times i frigged up and cursed because my uploads were too big...

Working with metal is a lot easier than these computer things...:duh:

I'll See what i can do
now how long is it going to take you to mess up the pretty paint :)
That is a vantastic FELer. I like it WAY better than the Johnny bucket. Yours goes high enough to load into a pick up truck.

Very nice work on the FEL!

Easy way to do the pictures and vids is to upload from the PC to a free site like Photobucket or similar site. It's easy, you can do it yourself and don't have to resize anything. When you have stuff uploaded to the free hosting site, just copy and paste the IMG code with your mouse into the body of your post.Even I can do it,and I'm a genuine computer dummy.

Thanks fellas for all your nice coments however, It feels nice and is rewarding. I did work a lot of nights and odd weekend afternoon on this loader.
I will make a video of it soon and post somehow. As far as i know i have a tripod somewhere to hold the camera still and make it a nice demo.

Now maybe I'll get it dirty when i dig the bucket into the dirt noze down and lift the front end of the tractor off the ground a foot.:i_praying
if you're like me you put all that hard work into making something that is going to get messed up look good, then you are too hesitant about using it, so you go buy/build another to keep your hard work looking good :)

Well I finally scratched the new paint. I was walking around the house with my wife hand in hand, on this nice saturday afternoon in the breeze, as we came upon my tractor. My wife stood inside the bucket and while holding her hand I lifted her gently up to about knee height when suddenly she says "OK now let me down please"

Then came my turn, I stood in the bucket as she lifted me up, till the stinkin tractor rear end started lifting off the ground and scared the bejesus out of me
(no one was sitting in the driver seat for counter weight)

Moral of the story is: If you paint it, you will scratch it, If you scratch it, may as well be with your wife by your side...:ROF

Great job. Wish I was that talented.
Nice loader!

Just curious what actuators you used? What size and load capacity?
