I have a friend who has a the machine to fill with. I can get a 55 gallon drum of methonal for $250, he said if I buy that he will fill the tires at no extra cost if he can keep the unused of the methonal. Is that a good deal? What about filling the front tires too, any benefit from that? He said there are likely tubes in the back tires, is that true?

I have the AG tires if that makes a difference.

Here is what I did........
Filled my turfs (22 gallon each) with 5 gallon auto anti freeze and 17 gallon wind shield washer fluid (-20 below) I did a test run of 5 oz anti freeze and 17 oz of ww fluid in a 2 liter bottle and put it in the freezer. The formula for the amount of fluid your tires hold may be different.

I used a 12 volt bilge pump from the boat, an $8.oo tire valve stem adapter form the farm supply store, an old set of washer water supply hoses, and a couple buckets. Took less than 1/2 a day to do.

And with the things I bought on sale, was only about $40.oo a wheel.

Good luck
