Guys is this a f725? Does anyone even still use these anymore? One just came up for sale by me with a cab, blower, deck, and vacuum. Any value? What's it's worth?

If you have a lot to mow BIG AREAS that is the mower that will get it done,Onan motor I think.price 2500- 3500 with all the attachments.
If it runs, they aren't repair friendly.
What's it worth in average condition

Sorry didn't see that. I may go pick it up. Guys price is very fair
Look like a F7xx series. The gas versions has liquid cooled Kawasaki engines I think. Price is a wild card - they cost a lot new but demand in the used market is low. I agree with Jim's price range.
If it's an F710, it will be an air cooled Kawi. If F725 or larger I think, liquid cooled Kawi. I had an F725 and F710 not long ago. For the most part, that seemed to be really the only difference between the two. Same controls, handling, size, body panels, frame, transmission I think, attachments, etc. I don't recall how much I sold them for. One had a cab and snowblower that was sold separately.

Here are the two of them side by side.

Are they still worth about the same
I know someone who uses an f935 for snow and loves the rear steer for that

We used to have a F935 at work.. It was a diesel mowing monster..

My 77 YO stepmom still uses a F725 to this day and loves it. It's the next best thing to a zero turn but has a steering wheel.. I've tried talking her into a new mower but nothing doing there.. Oh well..

Fixing it entails removing the sheet metal and some spots are tough to get at but it can be repaired if you have patience & take your time.. The only thing that proposes an issue is the unusual crankshaft if the motor gets fried so a repower isn't an option. The engine parts are readily available elsewise though..

If you do get it take care to keep the radiator screen clear to ensure maximum cooling.. Just a thought for ya..

Good Luck!! :greendr:
